The product has nice bass tones and the construction is good. Only issue is ear discomfort after hours of use and possibly the length of the cord could be longer.
But then I read the reviews. really good. For me the issue was about an inch below the earbud, where the PVC eventually became brittle and cracked and exposed the wire. Right. Pretty strange. deal about a year ago and they were great. I tried these from a [.].
the first generation with the PVC coated cordset. I never had an issue with the straight plug, but apparently that's why they redesigned it. As everyone says: sound = good. They even sent me the 2nd generation. Neat. well.here I am I dunno a few months later, and all of a sudden the left earbud channel goes. I'll try for the return via customer service again and if the third ones fail, it's back to [.]. Their strain relief at the earbud junction is a nubby cute thing, but pretty worthless in terms of taking the load off of the cord as it is anchored to the earbuds.
Reliability, not so much. apparently we all have the same, habits, anatomy, lifestyle to encounter this issue, huh. The customer service was prompt and pretty easy -- website, form, box, postage. wait a few days (it helps i am in southern ca perhaps), and back in action. Or maybe it's a design flaw. and I'll pick up some Sennheisers or Shures or whatever is similarly priced.
This is my third pair. The third pair I bought broke extremely quick. The first pair broke and the manufacture replaced it. The second pair broke but it was past the warranty date. I'm starting to wonder about the quality of this brand. The earbuds have great sound quality but they always seem to break.
Superb sound quality, great design, and, conquering the biggest problem most people have with earbuds, they stay in your ears. Although, after about a month of being amazed with the clarity and power of the earbuds i did encounter a problem with the wiring that connects to the jack; the left earbud suddenly stopped working so now i have to angle the wire just right so the left bud will work, but it's worth it.
Despite being careful with these headphones with my iPod, the wire insulation and then the wire separated at BOTH the plug-in end and at one of the earbuds, and they stopped working in SIX MONTHS. I have owned other headphones for YEARS. These are junk.
